Neil Arvin Javier “A.lien”

A.lien has studied fine arts at TUP and has had solo exhibits in various local galleries. He has been making his plush toys called Sculptoys that are characterized by button eyes and crookedly stitched bi-fanged smiles. These evolved into painted wooden massage ball rollers. His paintings are tinged with crude whimsy as he paints on a variety of surface from found cardboard to chopping boards, mixing stencils with direct painting and doodling.
